Jocelyn Campbell

There are stories, fables, and wive’s tales told around the world about how babies have assignments long before they are born into the world. However, I don’t imagine God sitting around saying I need a few death coaches. Although my path here hasn’t been a straight line here I am.

I am a formative campaigner for transformation, grace, and advocacy in end-of-life care. As a dedicated mother, author, speaker, and servant leader, I have pioneered a path few dare to tread - making the conversation about death not just accessible, but an integral part of understanding our humanity. My extensive professional career spans three continents - North America, Europe, and Africa - and encapsulates global thought leadership in transforming how we perceive and interact with the end-of-life journey.

At the helm of The Lighthouse Community Hospice, my vision transcends traditional hospice care because dying is and should be a team effort. I embrace a holistic approach that merges health, compliance, and technology to remove barriers to having a ‘Good Death’. My ventures, including Lighthouse Community Healthcare, Inc., and Health ComplyAi Inc., underscore my innovative spirit that birthed the pioneering Death Coach App and the first AI-based hospice compliance software, revolutionizing the industry's approach to compassionate care and regulatory adherence.

My philosophy is rooted in the belief that humanity has an innate connective tissue to death bound by culture, religion, and community and that acknowledging this bond is pivotal in embracing our mortality. My work is defined by key phrases such as "normalizing the conversation," "ownership of our own humanity," and the distinction between "headwork versus heart work." These principles guide my mission to transform end-of-life care into a journey of authenticity, love, grace, and truth.

My ‘friendship’ with death and my commitment to living life to the fullest is unique but it has created a healthy environment for having the tough conversations that most of the world considers taboo. I champion the dignity of a good death, leveraging my trademarks for "Navigating the End" and "The Death Coach" to educate, empower, and inspire. My goal is not just to lead in this space but to create a community bound by the shared values of excellence and a deep respect for life's final chapter in and out of healthcare settings.

A global thought leader in transforming how we perceive and interact with the end-of-life journey. Jocelyn is the founder of Lighthouse Community Healthcare, Inc., and an active campaigner for transformation, grace, and advocacy in end-of-life care.
